Black Berry Saree – Black Georgette Saree with White Floral Print

This saree works because it refuses to use more than three colours. A jet black georgette base, a white floral print laid over it, and gold zari holding the two apart. A pallu you will want to show

The pallu carries a large framed panel of white peacocks among flowering vines, drawn in fine line work against the black. It is bordered on all four sides with floral trim, so it sits like a piece of art rather than a repeating print. Broad gold zari bands run alongside it and down the full length of the saree.

Georgette, so it moves

How to style it

Care instructions

Dry clean only. Store folded in a muslin cloth away from direct sunlight — white prints on black yellow fastest in light. Iron on low heat on the reverse side, and press the zari with a cloth in between.
