The dupatta is the whole outfit

Most sets give you a plain dupatta and hope you do not notice. This one flips it. How to style it

Pearls and gold, nothing coloured — chandbali or long pearl drop earrings, as shown, and a cocktail ring. Nude or gold heels. Leave the neck bare so the embroidered yoke and the dupatta are not competing with a necklace. Soft waves suit this better than a tight bun.

Size and fit

Available in M, L, XL and XXL. The kurta is a regular straight fit — pick your usual size. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser drape, size up.

Care instructions

Dry clean only, and this one matters — zari work and chiffon both react badly to home washing. Store the dupatta folded in a muslin cloth, and refold along different lines every few months so the zari does not crease in one place. Iron on low with a cloth in between.
